Larry Rosen, CKD

Larry is a native Washingtonian and grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After college, Larry founded a general contracting company that successfully renovated homes in Washington for 11 years. But he literally grew up in the kitchen business. Finally the family calling could not be ignored, and he joined his father’s kitchen business in 1991. Larry earned the distinction of becoming a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD), as recognized by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). His kitchens have been featured in national and local publications. He enjoys the process of listening to his clients so that he can gather clues that will allow him to design the customer’s dream kitchen. Larry takes great pride in boasting that two generations of Rosens have been providing beautiful kitchens for over seven decades.

Hedy Shashaani

Hedy used her background in interior design to enter the kitchen business. In 1985, she began designing kitchens. Hedy joined Jack Rosen in 1997. She has a fine eye for detail and a unique ability to visualize creative use of space as she enters a room or views a floor plan. Hedy uses these skills to create her exquisite designs. In fact, one of her recent kitchen designs was awarded “Best in Class” in the 2010 NKBA Kitchen and Bath Design Competition, sponsored by Home & Design magazine. Hedy also recently won a Designer’s Choice Award and is now a “Hall of Fame Kitchen Designer” in the Home & Design Sourcebook. She is widely regarded as one of the most gifted kitchen designers in the area.

Stephanie Fried

While pursuing her interior design degree at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Stephanie began working for a local kitchen design firm. From that moment, she became hooked on designing kitchens! Stephanie joined Jack Rosen in 2007. She brought with her a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, superb communication skills – and a pleasant nature. This has proven to be the perfect combination, and Stephanie has greatly excelled in the kitchen design industry.
