Your new custom kitchen starts with a visit to our kitchen showroom located in Rockville, Maryland (MD), where you'll be met by one of our experienced designers.  When getting started, our kitchen designers suggest allowing at least an hour for your first visit to the kitchen showroom to determine what direction you'd like to go, and to also give you a sense of how our remodeling experts can help. In order to develop the best design for you, we need to understand how your kitchen is used. For instance:

• What are the rough dimensions of your kitchen?
  It’s helpful if you can bring them with you to the showroom.
• How do you envision your new kitchen?
  Bring in magazine articles or photographs - anything that can help us to know how you picture your dream kitchen.
• How many people are in your household?
• What kind of activities takes place in your kitchen?
  Are you a gourmet cook? Do you like to entertain?
• How much storage you will need?
• What is your budget for your new kitchen?

Follow-up Design Meeting

Our custom kitchen design company helps homeowners from the Washington, DC Metro area create the kitchen of their dreams. After the initial consultation with one of our kitchen designers, we can give you a preliminary estimate for the kitchen remodeling work. Your retaining deposit, which authorizes our team to begin the design process, will later be applied to your cabinetry purchase. Once those beginning steps are complete, our kitchen designer will take exact measurements on site and conduct a more detailed conversation about your design expectations, carefully listening to your needs.  The result of that process is a set of formal design drawings, which include a floor plan and elevation drawings. Any revisions you may have will be incorporated; then we can arrive at a final price. Upon your approval and deposit, your custom cabinets will then be ordered.
